KAMIJO - Yamiyo no Lion [Song Meaning]

"Rosicrucians seek to share their treasures; but those who want to steal them fall under the power of Lion"
Symbol of the Prince of this World (Symbole du Prince de ce monde)
"The Rose+Croix is Patient, his first and most important victory is the conquest of his own self.
It is the victory against the Lion, which caused serious damages to some of the most zealous fellowers of the Rose+Croix"
"He is not to be terraced by a furious and thoughtless attack, but we must bring him to surrender against the patience and magnanimity.
The true Rose Croix seeks to defeat his enemies with kindness, and his haters with donations.
S/He does not accumulate on their heads insults, but the burning fires of love.
He does not persecute his enemies with the sword and the fagots, but leave the weeds grow between them, which then, Nature will separate them."
Yamiyo no Lion
Dark Night's Lion

the Night
Night is the name given to that period of the day when the Sun doesn't illuminate the Earth anymore, the Dark side of the day ...
If we consider that the human is supposed to live good days and sad days in his life equally, we'd compare the good ones to the day (while there is Sun) and the bad ones to the night! In Arabic, for example, when we talk about the night of a nation, it symbolizes the bad days and years of this nation, which generally refers to a time of wars and revolutions ... Of troubles! In the Japanese language too! We often hear in their songs, phrases like "my night is not over yet ..." which may mean that I still have troubles, I still suffer, or "the sun will soon rise for you and end your night! " which may mean here: Soon, something or someone is going to appear in your life and change it, erase your Night (your worries and problems) ...

DARK NIGHT
YAMI-YO, Dark Night! Let's take the symbolism of the Night as a basis here. We're talking here of a "serious" dark one! In life there are often problems, from our childhood to our death, just as with a family, problems can happen from time to time, let's call them Nights! However, there's a problem that caused a divorce ... We've to call it Dark Night ...
Dark Night refers to a very major concern, whith damages that may lead to the full "destruction" of the thing or the person who undergoes it (eg: divorce destroys a family ...)

THE LION
King of Beasts! Is his nickname, or just The King! Here we could accentuate the "Vive le Roi" (Long live the King) by Kamijo! Which King?! ... I invite you to read this Masonic passage linked to the Knight Rose + Croix's degree:

The Rose+Croix knows how to stay silent [...] Just as a Minister of the Interior doesn't shout out the state's secrets, the Rose Croix does not parade before the public of what the King inside of him told him about; this King is nobler and wiser than all the kings and princes of the earth; because they do prevail and govern only by the authority and the power they have received from Him.
His secret is lifted when the King orders him to speak, because then it's not him who talks, but the Truth through his mouth.

You can read words like "inside of him" and "orders him to speak" ... Looks like the King is another person residing "inside of thte Rose+Croix" ... The synonym of "King" in this context is "ROSE", it is simply what the religious (monotheists) call 'soul' and say that it's a part of what they call "God" (with capital G) .. . I invite you to read again the text above!
So I said that the Lion is the King? Of course not, I will re-copy the text in the beginning of this article, read it wisely please:

"The Rose+Croix is Patient, his first and most important victory is the conquest of his own self.
It is the victory against the Lion, which caused serious damages to some of the most zealous fellowers of the Rose+Croix"

Following a simple deduction's logic, we get:
The Rose+Croix is patient.
His first victory = His most important victory = Conquest of his own Self.
"It's" the victory against the Lion, so we understand that:
Conquest of his own Self = Victory against the Lion.

Victory against the Lion? Excelling the Lion ... Who caused "serious damages" to some of the "zealous" fellowers of the Rose+Croix ... This text belongs to "Knight Rose+Croix's Signs", it is the "detailed" description of the first sign, which is Patience!

When can't we be patient? ...
When we're in troubles? ...

"Religious" people are usually the most patient people, they remain patient and positive despite the poverty they may go through, pain, troubles, problems and obstacles ... Why? Because they believe that this life is a test that provides access to Heaven ... or Hell! ...
Some would say that the Rose+Croix is religious because of her/his virtues ... radically wrong! The Rose+Croix is the highest degree of Rosicrucianism ... To reach this degree one has to flourish his Rose! But not by following a religion! Not by being dogmatic! But with an open-mind, continuous reflexion and above all ... the Love the Truth! Following a religion and its deity(ies) is to be sure that we are on the right path, it is to stop doubting, being dogmatic ... It is arrogant, stupid and worst of all, we can not say we love Truth like this. Rosicrucianism is about Freedom! ... However, to achieve the level of Rose+Croix, we surely have to be a Rosicrucian first! ... And this is what the Rosicrucian goes through, she/he has to face the Lion ... In the Dark Night, as "The Rose+Croix is Patient, his first and most important victory is the conquest of his own self. It is the victory against the Lion "... the Rose Croix has already defeated the Lion!

What kind of troubles the Rosicrucian can face?
In the "Manual of the Rosicrucian," Spencer H. Lewis's book, we can read:
"the first stage of transition is a borderline state which is remarkable for its Cosmic touch."

State of Borderlin ... Medicine calls it BORDERLINE PERSONNALITY DISORDER, more informations here.

What can switch the mood of a person from an edge to another? What can make us so hypersensitive? Blurred image of self ...?
The answer is surely what Descartes found essential! The doubt! If we want to reach the Truth, we must doubt!
Another point in common between these people is that they doubt everything and anything! ... So even in their belief and god(s)!

The borderline state is that war against the Lion ... A Dark Night... Psychiatrists have classified the BPD mental illness as "chronic".
It seems from here that the Lion will always live within us! However, we've to confront It and make It docile! But to make it docile, we must first defeat It.

Is the Lion an enemy? What is It?
Serious damages, It causes ... If a borderline read this, even if he has no idea what the Lion in Rosicrucianism means, he surely will understand what kind of damages it is about... Imagine yourself in love with someone, and that person loves you too, so good! ... And then, like your reflection in the mirror faces you in a dream, and tells you, you're mine! Just for me! ... Your image threatens you. Invites you to isolation, as if you were possessed by a demon who wants you only for him/her! ... Your behavior will change, and unconsciously, you will do everything to push the person you love away from you, involuntarily ! And if the person remains and forgives your faults, you'll do again the the same mistakes ... Until the person abandons you. Here you wake up, and you will say "what did I do ?!" but it's too late ... The next time you'll see your reflection, you will see your enemy ... Contemporary medicine explains this as only one thing: "mental illness or insanity" ... But there's surely a good reason to become like this! We understand by living this, that we own nothing! But that reflection in the mirror, causing severe damages and leading us to hate ourselves should be overwhelmed! And for that, we need the help of the King inside of us, religious would say that it is God and cling to their beliefs, however the Rosicrucian clings to the Truth ... He knows that he has nothing to lose, not even himself? He knows that this is an illusion, so... He waits... He is patient when he loses his loved ones, Patient with the fact of being abandoned, Patient with the fact of looking like an insane ... He beats the Lion, by the greatness of his self, controls the Lion, who has only one aim: to awaken us.

The Dark Night, means for me a "Gnostic existential crisis." Because, taken by doubts, the Rosicrucian can question herself/himself questions like: Am I on the right path? Is there really a cosmic power that controls everything? What's my consciousness? Will I be conscious after my Death? etc ... The Gnostic falls into what's beyond atheism ... Nihilism. Knowing that the Rosicrucians are people not interested in this life ... They can fall in suicide ... Serious and lasting depression ... And else ... And all this is "very normal". However ... the Rosicrucian must not lose against the Lion. So s/he has to be ... Patient.

Lyrics' meaning will be updated soon.
We wish you have an idea from the text above.
Yamiyo no Lion invites to the Virtue of Patience. Everything in its time.

KAMIJO - Yamiyo no Lion [Signification] [FR]

Roses and Crosses in the Visual Kei Scene... Rosicrucianism!

Rose+Croix!
Rosicrucianism

The second song in Kamijo's album [Heart] is called Rose +Croix.
What does mean Rose+Croix?

First of all: IT IS NOT A SECT, not a secret society! It was secret in the past because ignorant religious had power, but not anymore! It's a philosophical movement based on Gnosticism (search and worship of Knowledge and Truth), Mysticism (Worship of Eternity, Beauty, Wisdom and Truth, and calling all these "God") and Hermetism (which is more based on the esoteric and occult knowledge and researches). The fellows of this movement are called rosicrucians, and not Rose+Croix.

The litteral meaning or Rose+Croix: From french Rose = Rose and Croix = Cross, can be translated to Rosy Cross.
Meaning of Rose+Croix in the rosicrucian context: The are many sub-movements of the Rose+Croix, different societies, secret societies, orders and schools... But they all agree that the Cross symbolize the body of the human, that is ephemeral, and the Rose symbolizes its soul or essence.
There are MANY rosicrucian orders, each of them teach rosicrucianism in its way! The biggest one is called the A.M.O.R.C. (Ancient & Mystical Order of the Rose+Croix) here is their presentation for better knowledge and understanding! ^^

Rosicrucian beliefs:
-What they mean by God isn't a being sitting on a throne somewhere in the skies.
-There is no hell no heaven.
-Most of rosicrucians believe in the Reincarnation.
-Humans reasons to be are: Gnosis (Knowledge and Awareness of who we truely are), to bloom (by Gnosis). In one word: To Learn.
-Sins ?: They don't believe in them the same way religious do! There are no sins, because the Rose may bloom, and may stop bloom or have a pause... And true, it may decays, and that's what they call sins, but a decayed Rose won't suffer for ever etc, but just stop existing forever...

Famous rosicrucians, mystics and gnostics:
-Lewis H. Spencer (for neutral people)
-Max Heindel (for Christians)
-Rumi (for Muslims)
-René Descartes (Philospher and Mathematician)
-Pythagoras (Mathematician, Occultist and Philosopher)
-Edith Piaf (Artist)
-And else...

As for the Visual Kei scene...
Roses! Roses! My music for Roses!
"I sing for you!! " like said Kamijo and Asagi!

So a little capitulation?
Let's go in an alphabetical order! :)

Ali Project! Arika Takarano-sama! Well this woman is awesome! :) And the signs are too much for her no? And let's make clear something, I'm not telling that anyone saying "ROSE" is a rosicrucian... Surely no :) So, her lyrics and songs are full of Hermetism and Roses! The most awesome one is "Watashi no Bara wo Kaminasai!" which means "Burn my Rose!" So here is video with photos of Ali Project, from the booklets of their CD and magazine photos with hermetic and gnostic symbology! :)

ASAGI! D! With no comments! ^^ The man is a mystic anyway, most of the songs are love poetry for... God? Asking God for pardon and else... It's more clear with D anyway!

Femme Fatale! Yes, Kaya! The easiest way to recognize it is to read the tracklist of ARCANA, which is Tarot's compositors. And you'll find a track with in its name "RosenKreutz" :) Which is the german translation of Rosy Cross, Rose Croix.

Hizaki! Some of his compositions and lyrics really went mystics and... Martinists! Like MASQUERADE! Or just like we can see him in his album ROSARIO which means that Crucifix we hold... But the Crucifix he holds isn't christian! What's crucified is a Rose! Not a Christ... Rosy Cross...

Kamijo! Should I talk about him?

Kaya! Also... ? Does Kaya have a song within he doesn't pronounce the word "Rose"? I'd like to know it! ^^

Lin -the End of Corruption World- & PHANTASMAGORIA... So gnostic as a band! Kisaki is really awesome! :)

MALICE MIZER... And vampire stories! Between, about vampire, let me say it again... A vampire is someone who lives eternally ... And the body of the vampire never decays... The legend says that once someone reaches the highest level of rosicrucianism, he becomes a ROSE+CROIX... An eternal, a perfect! ... A minor god! But not God... R+C are eternal and perfect, and they drink blood, guess which one? The Royal Blood, the Blood of the King that flows in their veins! They're the Descendants of God, of the Rose! THE ROSE symbolizes God, the King and Creator, OR Goddess, Queen and Creatrice! :) the Supreme Being in rosicrucianism is asexualized! Don't have a gender! ... Vampires are those who are the most close to God... They are Nobles... Aristocrats of this world and universe!

Matenrou Opera... Songs like "Maincast wa Kangaeru" with "Tonari ni suwaru Taiyou", "Burning Soul" and the albums "AVALON" and "JUSTICE" are supreme examples! :D

Moi dix Mois... LA DIX CROIX! LA ROSE CROIX! ...

Should we talk about Versailles?...

On assimile l'éternité à Dieu, dit Être Suprême ...

On invite, mon vrai Moi... »

... Non terminé...
